Marching Band Announcements

  • Practice Regimen

    Dear Musician,

    A most effective means of practicing is to play the marching band repertoire: “The Marine’s Hymn”, “America The Beautiful”, and “God Bless America”. You may reference the songs on youtube.com by simply typing in the title and instrument. If you prefer to e-mail me audio (no video) of you playing the songs, I will write you back with some helpful tips.

    If you left your instrument at school, please call the main office and make arrangements to pick it up.

  • JOIN THE MARCHING BAND!

     

    Join the Lincoln Orens Marching Band which meets every Wednesday morning 8:00 a.m. The students will learn patriotic songs to play for the Island Park Memorial Day Parade. ALL STUDENTS ARE WELCOME whether you play a band instrument or not. DRUMMERS ARE NEEDED! NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!  Learn to play an instrument and march! It is as easy as walking and chewing gum at the same time! See you Wednesday!
